Vigobyte has been molding CDs for over 6 years and currently maintains 16 CD molding lines at our manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico. We have the capability to manufacture up to 9 million units per month in a clean and secure environment.
Vigobyte manufactures CDs by molding a plastic resin called polycarbonate, creating the pits and lands, or digital ones and zeros (binary code), which are read by a laser in the many drives and players available today. These pits and lands are molded into the polycarbonate, by utilizing a nickel plated piece of metal called a stamper. The stamper is created through a process called glass mastering. CD-ROMs created in our manufacturing process are the very robust, scratch, and heat resistant. This is ideal, if you are looking for long-term and continuous use for your CDs.
FULL SIZE CD
A full size CD-ROM typically holds up to 650 megabytes of data or 74 minutes of music. A full size CD is ideal for demos, music, games, software, promotions, and much more. Compact disc replication is ideal for runs of 500 units or more. A full size CD-ROM is 120mm in diameter and typically holds up to 650 megabytes of data or 74 minutes of music. Vigobyte can replicate and print over 300,000 full size CDs per day in our factory.
MINI CD
The right tool for eye-catching promotions, a company presentation that "must be seen,” or that music album single that needs a unique difference to stand out in the crowd. The Mini CD is 80mm in diameter and holds up to 180 megabytes of data, or up to 20 minutes of music. Vigobyte has the capability to replicate and print over 140,000 Mini CDs per day at our facility.

CD PRINTING
We have two printing processes available at our facility. Silkscreen printing which prints from 100-120 lpi (lines per inch), which results in superior print quality and brilliant images on every CD. In addition we have Offset printing capability that allows us to print from 175-200 lpi, for realistic photograph quality.
